SSL Certificates

SSL (Secure Socket Layers) certificates are used to encrypt and transmit confidential data.  An SSL certificate is required when accepting credit cards for payment on your Web site.

Note that a dedicated IP address is required to install an SSL certificate.  SSL certificates and IP addresses are both available for purchase as add-ons.
